Low Profile Mount's for M14

I'm looking for some opinions of low profile mounts for my M14. Ive seen the Hero Arms Mountbase Type 2, it looks low enough, but I'm not sure how sturdy it sits on the rifle. The G&P Tactical Mountbase looks good too, but I need some opinions before I choose one. Thanks.

I think what your looking for is just a reguler L mount? Or is there something spacific for the m14?

I had the KA M14 mount on mine and it was okay with a red dot on it but with a full size scope it seemed to have a lot of movement (extra leverage by the scope?) I removed mine when I converted my TM to a Socom 16 configuration and moved the red dot to the barrel.

I have the KA M14 mount on mine as well, and yea, it does move with a scope on it. Ended up drilling an tapping a screw in the forward section, now it's solid as a rock.

Kyle, you could always buy an ARMS #18 mount like me.

I was thinking about it, but the G&P mount is exactly the same for a quarter of the price ;-)

I have the Hero Arms one, and it is rather sturdy. The previous owner of my M14 had a huge ass scope on it too.
