Chest Rig Ident.
Just out of curiousity, and I know you've all seen it, in episode three (3) of Over There, the squad's lead into a ghost town and met by a "special forces" chap. What rig is he running? It appears to be somewhat modular, if not totally, but I can't figure what the base is? Any thoughts anyone? Looked to me like it could be a comfy rig.
Cheers

That the one? It's a Tan Point Blank Full Spectrum Battle Equipment Amphibious Assault Vest, Quick Release, a popular replica of which is the Guarder MOD II.

Look at the circle I have highlighted, and look at the bottom FSBE rig. |

The vest definately looks like an FSBE. Great vest BTW, it is completely modular, front back, and sides.
The pouches on it may be blackhawk pouches, I don't know though.

I see your point. Look at the right armpit area though. The cut of the FSBE doesn't match and there appears to be some kind of attachment point there as well. The cut has a very sharp curve and not the gradual one in the pic of the FSBE. Pouches are Blackhawk or a good clone.
Almost looks like maybe a cummerbund system like a CIRAS, but not a CIRAS, or perhaps a custom modified FSBE.

As for the sides being slimmer though, I suspect he is wearing a Guarder MOD II take a look at the WGC pic of the guarder rig http://www.wgcshop.com/pcart/shopper...182a2fcfe6d18c |

So basically, it's a G&P replica - more or less? Who, if any, makes the real deal?

Point Blank makes the FSBE but there are better systems out there (CIRAS, Paraclete RAV).

It's a regular M4 (Sopmod possibly). It has a supressor on it, does not look like an SPR though.
