Tactical Slings(?)

Can someone explain, in a clear and concise manner, what the difference is between sling styles?
ie. is a 3 point sling and a "swift sling" the same?

Single point sling - This is where the sling is a simple loop and it has a single attachment point that usually hooks onto the weapon where the stock meets the action.

Two point sling - This style is the basic "hunting" rifle or "parade" sling. It attaches at two points usually the forearm and the buttstock.

Three point sling - This style is similar to the two point however it is usually attached to to the forearm and buttstock on the side or top rather than the bottom like most two points. It also has an extra piece that runs along the side of the weapon attaching to the sling in the "front" and "back"

This sling does 1, 2 and 3 point but the picture shows 3 point for reference.

So will an M4 sling work on an AK74m? The dimensions look ok but I have never tried it.

I don't know if the fixed buttstock adaptor would work on the AK or not, the M4 (collapsible one) would be to small. There is another adaptor that is called the universal sling loop that works on pretty much anything. It would wrap around the stock where it meets the action.
