OPS Silencer for M4
Is the guarder Ops type silencer for M4 the only silencer that screws onto a two piece barrel such as the guarder reinforced outer barrel (2003 version). Most silencers that ive seen just fit over the barrel such as the G&P and King arms.

I don't believe the OPS silencer will even fit. The threaded section is recessed too far into the silencer.

Im pretty sure the Guarder Ops silencer would fit but its hard to get. I'm looking at the OPS Model 3rd MBS M4 Silencer. I think its a King Arms. Its for sale in the for sale section. Im not sure if this fits or not.

If you're planning to attach it directly to the barrel as in the second picture you linked, you're out of luck. I'm assuming you're hoping to use the nut in the picture to mount the thing onto the front sight, right? Unfortunately the silencer doesn't actually screw into or in any way actually attach to the nut, you need to screw it onto the end of a regular M4 length barrel. It also comes with a little 2.5 inch adaptor for using it with an XM733 I believe.

Oh. so if I leave on the front end of the barrel the silencer actually connects to the front end of the barrel.. (where my finger is pointing at)

Yes, that's exactly it. At least that's how the KA version worked, and I'm assuming the GRS and Guarder versions are pretty similar.

Thanx for the info. I think im probably going to buy the King Arms off the buy and sell section.
