Odd Problem after intsalling a systemA spring guide

So I installed a V2 systemA spring guide in my M16, only to find I cannot re-attach the stock. the screw on the full stock will screw into the guide, however it will not go far enough in to hold the stock on tight.

Anyone else run into this problem?

When you say M16, you mean the M16VN or M16A1? These stocks are shorter than the later M16A2/SR16 stocks. You may be using the screw for the longer stock for your shorter stock.

Ok popped my stock one back in, works fine. I can only assume that either the guy who installed this on the previous M4 stripped the threads, or its an manufacturing flaw. One more problem to chalk up that that M4.....
