My pts masada has issues with double feeding and wont feed regularly
I think this is the problem, but I dont know how to fix it. Can I do anything about this?

Generally it can be the feed lips on the magazines. As a solution there are two generations of lips that you can buy directly from KWA, the newer having very little double feed issues.
Since replacing mine ($5-15 a piece) I haven't had any issues.

This is the aeg version. I think Im going to try a new hopup unit, so maybe that will work.

I own many of these guns!!! My best guess is that your cut off lever has worn out or the more common cause is the microswitch. They use a proprietary trigger and a microswitch with a back piece that helps reset the trigger. The piece that resets the trigger often fails to do so causing the gun to double shoot or not shoot on some shots. You can get replacements directly from PTS or the cheaper option is to get them from Ares since the internals were designed by them! Microswitch unit itself can be found at most electronics parts stores!
