king arms m16/m4 mags
i already have 5 Marui m16 lowcaps was thinking about trying out some of the KA models. i wanted to know if anyone has fitting issues with metal aftermarket bodies.
i have heard a couple situations where Star m16 mags would not fit in some Hurricane bodies. wanted to know if the KA ones had issues as well. |

i do have a couple KA mags and some of them dont fit perfectly in a TM body, at least not at first - kinda like you have to break them in.
they do seem to fit really nice in a G&G body - like they were made for it. haven't tried them in any other bodies just yet, but i like the quality/price ratio so much that i already placed an order for about 10 more before ive even bought my G&G aeg |

I ordered 10 of these and they all fit fine in both of my G&P bodies. One is a M733 body and the other is the M4 Special Edition Metal Body For Seal Team. The mags did have a problem at first feeding, but after lubing them up, they work absolutely perfect. Can't go wrong with the mags for the price you can get them at!!!

Jugglez can get them in for you dirt cheap - he had a pre order going for $12.50 a piece, dunno if it's still on.
These mags fit great in ICS recievers. |

DEN Trinity has them listed for US$10.00 each. Real nice price if you don't care for the all plastic STAR mags.

The KA mags have also hit the danish airsoft market, personally I have changed to them after using TM and Magpul Ranger PTS magazines. Most people choose MAG plastic magazines, whitch also feed very nice, but those of us who uses Ranger Magpuls need the metal shell and this little feature are priceless IMO:
http://www.airsoftzone.dk/asz_pics/KAM4mag2.JPG I have used KA mags in ICS guns (very nice fit) and in a HurricanE reciever (OK fit) the do take som breaking in, both to the gun and in order to feed propperly. edit: I get them from Uncompany.com where they are also prized at 10US$. |

It's a common feature in virtually all aeg lowcaps, nothing special.

None of my TM locaps have those. Maybe an older model, but it definately is a nice feature to have. Granted, without it, the loading rod nozzle does the trick.

none of the m4/m16 mags from TM that I have seen in the 10 years that I have played airsoft, have the specific feature. It is true that many other TM mags has it, but it is not found on the TM model (excep hi-caps).
The problem is not loading the mag. but when you unload it, after a day of shooting. |
