VSR-10 fireing problem

Hi,

I upgraded my VSR-10 (real shock version) with a new cylander, piston, spring. im not sure what spring it was, I think %200. I used it for about a month and it worked great.

Then one day after playing i was just shooting at some targets and when I cock it back i hear the "click" sound but upon release the full power of the spring releases, like its fireing. I had it installed by the people at the store I bought it from, and ive torn it apart and cant figure it out.

Help would be greatly appreciated, thx.

Your sear(s) is/are toast.

*Sorry, correction: It SOUNDS like your sear is toast.

There's more than one bit inside that could have gone on you, but they're all replaceable, so I'd just open it up and take a look.

Alternatively, there might be a worn patch on the piston where the sear catches it. You'll have to open it up to look and see which.

Once you know what it is, replace the part.

check to see that the spring guide isnt loose. I had a similar problem with mine, turned out that the spring guide rod had loosened off from the bearing base. Its a simple fix, just tighten it back up and put some locktight or crazy glue on the threads.
