VSR-10 fireing problem
Hi,
I upgraded my VSR-10 (real shock version) with a new cylander, piston, spring. im not sure what spring it was, I think %200. I used it for about a month and it worked great. Then one day after playing i was just shooting at some targets and when I cock it back i hear the "click" sound but upon release the full power of the spring releases, like its fireing. I had it installed by the people at the store I bought it from, and ive torn it apart and cant figure it out. Help would be greatly appreciated, thx. |

Your sear(s) is/are toast.
*Sorry, correction: It SOUNDS like your sear is toast. There's more than one bit inside that could have gone on you, but they're all replaceable, so I'd just open it up and take a look. Alternatively, there might be a worn patch on the piston where the sear catches it. You'll have to open it up to look and see which. Once you know what it is, replace the part. |

check to see that the spring guide isnt loose. I had a similar problem with mine, turned out that the spring guide rod had loosened off from the bearing base. Its a simple fix, just tighten it back up and put some locktight or crazy glue on the threads.
