Best Silencer For GBBs
I am wondering what silencer I should buy.
I am most likely going to put the silence on a HFC M190 Compensated...so the silencer needs to beable to slip over the extended inner barrel and screw into a silencer adapter. I am strongly considering the King Arms Delta Force Silence because its so inexpensive. Anyone have any suggestions...Do any silencers not fit over extended inner barrels? |

While most silencers dont do too much of a job silencing GBB's they at least look cool! King Arms makes some really spiffy silencers, and they are cheap as dirt. I had a couple KA silencers myself and they are of top notch build quality. The delta force silencer is proably a little bigger than a roll of quarters and suits most GBB's quite nicely with its proportional size. Most of the sound comes from the slide cycling back and forth, so it's more so for looks rather than actual supression.

Ya its difficult to put together a silencer option...adapters and all...but the look is worth it to me...especially since part of my silencer would be hiding an extended inner barrel.

One thing to keep in mind regarding supressors and GBBs is the type and way the GBB works. Like, a Beretta doesn't really have much in the way of issues with a supressor, but a Glock type gun (because the camming action of the inner barrel/breach in relation to the slide) needs a light wieght supressor, otherwise the gun might not cycle properly if at all when a heavy supressor is attached.
As far as effectiveness of a supressor on a GBB goes, for the most part negligable, but there are some guns out there that a good suppressor actually works well on. KSC M11 and KSC Mk23 (when used correctly) work VERY well with a good supressor attached, to the point that yo uonly really hear the bolt clacking back & forth on the M11, or using double action on the Mk23 (hammer down, round in the chamber) so the slide doesn't cycle at all. |

Ya, I would say that my goal is not noise suppression, though that would be a plus....Instead, I just want my Beretta to look damn sexy
Since the KA Delta Force silencer is the least expensive silencer...it suits my needs well, but I am open to other suggestions. Who has a silenced Beretta? |

wouldn't the added weight significantly slow cycle speed on any pistol with a camming type action? (i.e. most glocks and other smaller pistols)
