offhand, the first thing I noticed about it (manual PDF seems to confirm this) is that it seems to only take 12V DC as a powersource... dunno if that's what you want, or if you were planning on using a household power outlet...?

No need to delete, some one else may come across the same charger and wonder if it's decent for airsoft too. It looks like it's an ok charger for when you're at games (plug it into your car) but it seems to lack the smart charger options some other chargers give.

there are a couple more on there, Erik. You've peeked my interest... I'll have to look into one.

Wall warts (like the one's at canadian tire) are junk and will turn your battery into a handwarmer. Just because you're a beginner doesn't mean you have to buy a crap charger, you can make your playing experiance better by having a decent battery and a decent charger. Infact I would recommend having two decent batteries because it's handy to have a spare.

You don't have to spend 100$ on a charger, there are decent chargers out there for 1/2 that if you know what to look for and what to buy. There are pleanty of threads on asc and other sites on decent chargers. You might also look at RC car sites because they use the same batteries and chargers. You may even find a deal for a good used charger in the accessories section.
