ok
it's the first time im going to buy an airsoft gun,
i mainly wish to buy it for target practice in my backyard
also i would like to put it as a showpiece in my house
so i also need to know where the bright fluorescent orange markings are in the models because if it looks too much like a toy i wouldnt put it as a decoration,
I am interested in the revolvers (.44 or .357) most acurate replicas i can get
do you guys have any suggestions?
help a guy out

thanks in advance

No, don't do that.

Airsoft being what it is, makes for a REALLY expensive decoration piece. There's also something to be said about 'safe storage'... So in a nutshell, bad idea.

If its mainly revolvers you're interested in, I would suggest Replicas. Pre-1898 replicas are common and much less expensive, and designed to be show pieces. You'll find many civil-war/old west style revolvers and the like.

I think what you need is a Dewat, a deactivated revolver. No need for a licence or safe storage... perfect for display. Still I suggest that it is locked securely in your display.

Cheers,
Alex

First, what you want to do (backyard, etc) is illegal.

Next...
This is a generic response. Pick the parts that apply to you.

FAQ: (Frequently Asked Questions) Button at top of forum list. I bet what you want has probably been asked before. Also found in the Information Section.

Information: Button at far top of page (and the Information Center section of the forum). You might find the Information you are looking for. And check the pinned subjects in each section.

Canadian Retailers: Button at far top of the screen. If they are not listed, DONT buy from them. You can also look at the Classifieds section on the main page, or Trumart who owns this website. You must now be 18 to buy guns, and AGE VERIFIED (look it up), to visit our forum classifieds. If you want something, and dont see it on their websites, EMAIL them. Dont ask us.

International retailers and information: Button at the far top of the screen. Good for information, but buy from Canadian Retailers. YOU CANT IMPORT AIRSOFT GUNS INTO CANADA!

Teams, Games and people to meet (pick your Province): Team section, go see and contact folks. They will know where to play and Where To SHOP in your area.

Search button: Learn to love it.

If you cant find what you need at all in there, check again.
If your profile does not tell us the city you live in, we cant direct you to local help and services, so please fill it.
If you're under 18, wait.
Read a lot; we dont spoonfeed what has been written already.

Famous (or infamous) last words. What Greylocks is trying to say is never underestimate the fear that guns put into the Canadian soccer mom. They would call in the SWAT team over a cap gun. And in Canada, real weapon or not, you will be charged with a criminal code offence for showing it public. Ask the kids who seem to get busted monthly in every province for taking one to school, or showing "buddies" at a park, etc.

There is no such thing in Canada as "private property". If your property borders someone else's, you could land up in serious shit over something you think is ridiculous.

I'm not trying to flame you here, just a word from someone who knows abit more about the actual law.

crossman makes good revolvers, they're cheaper and the propellant is easier to get (C02) and the ammo is easier to get as well. I'd try them. Some hunting and fishing stores will custom order some crossman revolvers too, not CT or WalMart though.

As said before, airsoft guns are pretty pricey to use as "display pieces" alot of people have rooms with shelves on the wall and such, but im sure the door to those rooms remains locked.
