Hydration

Does anyone know if you can get just a hydration pouch that can fit onto a MOLLE vest? I would like to find something in OD that can attach to the vest itself without getting into dealing with more shoulder straps. Any info would be awesome.

Thanks folks.

You're looking for a Hydration Carrier. There might be some available on these boards, otherwise Tactical Tailor makes the one above.

Blackhawk also makes a simple straight up molle hydration carrier, in OD, tan, etc. You can find them for good prices on Ebay usually...

In fact, most companies who make molle stuff make a hydration carrier that's just what you're looking for.

Both TAG, HSGI and Drop Zone make them as well. You have lots of selection.

I was wondering about that. I was curious as well if doing this, or using the MOLLE carrier produced a lot of 'sloshing'.

Would it still be more stable to strap a camelbak over your vest (phantom CIRAS in my case) or to add the carrier?

The 3L Thermobak camelbak comes with shoulder straps but you can undo the clips and tuck them inside the pack itself and secure it to the molle vest with the d-rings athe top bottom and sides with the proper clips
