Good glasses for Field Use

searched, an found one or two threads with some good info, but only on SG-1s.

Anyways, I'm looking for a good pair of glasses to wear in the field(untill I get LASIK done), etc I'm planning on buying a pair of Wiley X's since they seem to be pretty good.

I've heard the SG-1s are good, but fog up a lot; but anti-fog spray can help with that.
Lenses popping out isn't cool though :/

Also, what would be the better choice SG-1 or the SG-1 V-Cut?

These two look pretty good aswell

All of those are good choices.

My clients have never complained about their Wileys fogging up or lenses popping out. I have only had my CQC's fog up on me once in the 2 yrs I've had and used them.

I do carry Ops drops which prevent fogging.

Most of the guys are going with the SG-1s and the XL-1s

I like my ESS ice.

Never fog up. They come with clear, black tinted and yellow tinted lenses.
Easy to switch lenses and very solid.

Ideal for sniping with a hot ghillie suit.

You're getting an NSN discount? I'm such a fucking idiot I never took advantage of any of that shit. Anywho, I'm loving my Oakley M-Frames.

Yea, I've heard that about the SG-1s. XL-1s seem to be better for not fogging up though, aslong as you don't have them pulled up tight to the face.

I'm gonna give them a shot, if I have fogging issues I'll pick up the anti-fog spray stuff.

they're not the ones where you have to buy seperate inserts for perscriptions are they? (noticed you said lasik so I'm going with that)
I've been told they fall out of the glasses, hence why I never bought any.

The prescription XL-1s don't have seperate inserts, just one lense thats in the frame like normal glasses.

I'm not getting LASIK done for awhile, so its a non-issue right now for the glasses.

Eddie, I'm more interested in something that looks like normal glasses so I don't draw any unwanted attention on course or something.

Greg, yea I've heard a lot about the problems with the new ballistic glasses an Rx inserts, doesn't sound to good..

I'm gonna order the XL-1s soon, just gotta get all the info needed for my prescription first.

So, I tried to order the glasses today, an got an email back saying they(Wiley X) can't make lenses in my prescription for the XL-1s. So, I gotta find another place that can put it in. Apparently Wiley X can only put in weaker prescriptions.
