Anyone interested in a REAL Bowman PRR?

I'm putting out some feelers to see if people would be interested in getting in on a group order. The units come with the Headset, Radio unit and a wireless PTT switch to mount on your gun or wherever you please. The Radio's themselves are used but in Top Notch condition and the accesories are all brand-new. Heres a pic of a Bowman in use:
Headset:

Radio:

The PRR has a 256-channel capability. Sixteen channels are directly available to the user, with an additional 16 directly under the press to talk (PTT) switch. The operational range in rural terrain is more than 500 meters. The PRR will transmit through up to three floors in urban terrain.

Please let me know if there would be any interest in me bringing these units in. Cost would be approx. £300 ($600 cdn) but this would be the ultimate peice of kit you own.

I'd be interested in the headset and PTT system with appropriate jacks for Motorola Saber-series radios.

What's the operating frequency range? If it's compatible with dual band or programmable to GMRS frequencies, I'd go for it.

EDIT - 500m in urban terrain doesnt sound that great. What's the operating range in rural environments?

little over 1km. I know it isn't great, but these are mainly for CQB and inter-unit radios. They don't run on the typical UHF/VHF, they run on a wireless LAN system thats more secure than UHF/VHF. I'm bringing in a pair to test and I should know more by then. If anyone is interested, I have brochures that I can email to you. Just email me @ mpinc@shaw.ca

Thanks,

Marco P.

They run on 2 AA batteries.

No, they can't be programmed to FRS.

Thanks,

Another option is to get the Bowman headset off eBay and have it rewired with PTT by a pro. www.elementconcepts.com/articles_prr.php

Yeah, I was wondering, seeing as how Bowman PRR headsets aren't too bad on price on ebay, would anyone be able to rewire one to work with a standard motorola/cobra FRS with a PTT?
