Startup gear

Hi ASC,

new here. i've recently discovered airsoft through youtube and going to events myself.

i've basically just been renting my stuff so far but i plan to equip myself.

the place i play is a local CQB with a rotating map that changes frequently.

i've had a G&G CM16 Raider for my rentals but i find the gun too long to carry around corners and hard to respond fast.

I was looking at the CM16 ARP9 and wanted to know if that would be a good choice.

i plan to look on the forums for used guns in the near future so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

thanks,

Xsane

Well,

The CF did a lot of work with the C7, for a very long time, and still to this day.

If you learn how to become good with that, you will be even better with a shorter platform in the future.

Just get a pistol.

More than enough for CQB.

if you have a hard time with corners, your technique may have a problem. as for a gun, look for a shorter style m4 variant like MK18 or HK416. since they are not as customized as ARP you should be able to tinker with them a lot more in future.
