Firing Accuracy?
I am thinking of purchasing an airsoft gun and I first want to gain some knowledge prior to spending hundreds of dollars. What I would like to know is:
I have heard much about paintball guns being extremely unaccurate at pretty much any distance and I want to know if this is the case for airsoft guns aswel. I realize many guns are different but first give me a general response and the, if you know, tell me how these guns fair in your experience/knowledge: Tokyo Marui M4A1 New Type Tokyo Marui Hand Guns (in general) TM EBB Beretta M92F http://www.007airsoft.com/products/htm/aeg-tm.htm If you read through that and managed to squeeze out a respond, I thank you. Any suggestions as to where a good place to buy quality Airsofts would also be nice. |

It shoots a very light plastic ball out of a smoothbore barrel. Think about it.
Go to a game and watch. Nothing we could write will compare to seeing for yourself. Oh, if you bother to use the SEARCH option of this site... look up all the information about EBB before you waste your cash. |

If you want a decent pistol, go for a KSC Glock. I have a G19 with metal slide, barrel and heavier recoil spring and it's pretty sweet. Shoots damn hard with propane and is quite accurate. I need a tightbore barrel and heavier BBs to finish the job. Don't waste your cash on an EBB, buy a good Gas Blowback and have some fun.

An EBB is a must have! You can own everyone at the games with one. Great slide cycling, and very accurate!

You dont need accuracy that much
the best combo i found is 2 mp5k so you can just walk by and kill everyone (did you see the matrix documentary?) and since the bb fly at slow speed you can dodge every shot to you .. gives a really nice effect |

In an attempt to actually be helpful I'll say this:
I have a paintballer friend and we go play sometimes. He was shooting at a tree about 35-40 feet away and he hit it maybe half the time. I, on the other hand, with a TM AK-47 could not only hit the tree every time but could target the individual spots where his paintballs did manage to hit with fairly consistent accuracy. After about 80-100 ft. though Paintball and Airsoft have way to many factors against to be reliably accurate I find. |

Thank you to those of you who actually answered the questions. Can you also give me some feedback on how the M4A1 preforms and maby some sort of accuracy chart?
Thanks. |

All the info you are looking for is already out there. The reason people dont want to answer it, is that these threads repeat themselves, and although some people here are old, they arent old enough to like repeating themselves in these threads. Search this site, and search other airsoft sites. You should be able to find reviews on any type of gun you can think of.
I do second the opinion of the TM P226, I love mine and anyone who tests/uses it holds a high opinion of it as well. |
