My M16a3

:-) I am sooo happy! I just got home from the local army surplus store, and I bought this beautiful 1:1 M16a3! I'll get some pics of it ASAp, but my camera is acting weird. It has a med cap magazine, laser pointer w/pressure pad, R.I.S. rail on bottom of barrel and on top of receiver (where the inronsight is). Also has functional T-handle, mag release, and selector switch.
It is a very nice gun. :-)

Hey if it was all you could afford and you like it that's cool just as long as you know you'll be spending alot more in the future. I did the exact same thing so I'm not bashing you. I just wish I had have saved that money and put it towards some thing diffrent.

Have fun and good for you. Lets see those pics.

Hmm... 'Aika'.
Never heard of it, for some reason...
You have any idea how hard it shoots?

Sorry, no go on the camera.
Shoots pretty low, only 230 fps. Not bad for an "Aika".

Ya, I havent heard of Aika either. I searched for a website but there was none. If you are wondering, I got it at Oakville Outdoors and Surplus.

Ah... advertised velocities are usually wrong, so I doubt its 230 fps. Try chronying it when you have the chance...
Here's a few things,
1) Can it go through a sheet of cardboard, paper, or just tissue?
2) ROF?
3) Battery type?
4) Internals?
Try shooting some coke cans or something, and post some pictures.

EDIT: Oakville Outdoors and Surplus? Hell, I'm in Oakville for the holidays, I gotta check this out.

Well, goes thru paper, tissue for sure, Lol; almost goes thru cardboard (BB sticks out halfway). Im not sure about the internals and such because I jsut got it like an hour ago. When I come back from Sudbury (leaving an 10min) I will post the pics.

Ah... I'll hazard-guess around 200 FPS.
Sure, that'd be great...
You know where that store is? I need directions, may head over there sometime, and I'm from Nova Scotia (Thus, I don't live here and have no idea where it is).

Speers road in Oakville. Try Mapquest.com for directions. Correction: box says "Yika". http://www.oakvilleoutdoorsurplus.com/

Website does not have airsoft guns on it.
