gas leak on kjw p14-45 fmv gbb

recently my kjw p14-45 started to leak when i attempt to fill the mag up. it was working fine and then it just started to shoot out gas when i fill it. gas comes right out from the top of the mag and also near the bottom of the magazine plate from the sides.

i have try dropping silicon oil into the flow valve while pushing in the valve. i have also removed the bottom part of the mag and oil the the square oring around it. gas still leaks. any tips?

I think the mag's a lost cause now, anyways... doesn't sound like there's much you can do for it.

will it make any difference if i submerge the square oring and other orings in the mag in silicon oil for a couple of hours? i mean right now orings are already well oiled and it still leaks.

that will help.

I just did what you did to fix 3 of my mags.

Pour in the oil thru the valve on top and keep the mags standing up right over night.

If it leaks on the top flip them upside down for the night.

Or you can try to find replacement o-rings. Once it started leaking you will have to soak o-rings in silicon oil all the time. That's what I have with my M9 mags.

i have the problem with my kjw para mags where it leaks from the top. I picke dup one of the gaurder valve keys and when it does it I take the valve out and cover it in silicon oil. let it sit for a minute and reassemble. seems to fix the problem every time.

thanks for the replies guys. i think im gonna purchase a new mag.
in the future i might try replacing the orings. you guys know where i can get replacement orings for the kjw p14?

Try hardware stores, especially ones dealing with plumbing supplies. I usually get o-rings that fit KJ mags in Canadian Tire, but I don't think you will be able to find one in NY

Bring your original o-rings to the store and compare, you should be able to find something close.

Just do what "Tankdude" suggested. I had to do this to all my P14 mags, and it fixed them ALL!
