HFC Full Metal M190 w/CO2 mag

I am asking this because I want to buy the version that comes with the gas mag and then buy some spare co2 mags to use with it as well.

There seem to be two full metal versions of the pistol...one that comes with a gas mag and one that comes with a co2 mag.

Since the version that comes with the co2 mag can also use the gas mags....Can the version that comes with the gas mag also use the co2 mags? Are both guns the same or is the gun that comes with the co2 mag different in some way?

had to bring this thread back since there is a deal on HFC pistols right now and the first time around I stumped the forum with this question

So, Do the HFC co2 mags work with the full metal HFC m190 guns?

Only with an upgraded hammer-spring. The CO2 version has this pre-installed, the non-CO2 version works for some people, but gets damaged for others (by using CO2 mags in it, that is).

Ok, so how hard is it to install an upgraded hammer spring? I was thinkin of getting the full auto biohazard version(with the wood grips). Would just replacing the hammer spring make the gun work with both propane and co2 mags?

Sorry, I just got back today.
I'm afraid I couldn't tell you, and in theory (the CO2 M190 is the exact same thing as the FMV Green Gas one, except for the hammer spring- apparently), yes, it should be able to. However, having not done it (keeping M190 stock), I can't tell you much more then that.

Bob, Where did you get your information from?

What hammer spring would I need to buy to replace the stock one?

Got my info from M190 owners on Arnie's, there are quite a few sources there. I recommend you check them out.
I did a bunch of research before buying it, really, that's why.
I'm afraid I couldn't tell you- with some looking, I think you might be able to find it. I think I saw something on it, one guy had modded his M190 for CO2 use.
