It's not a big deal. We've had enough THE SKY IS FALLING threads on here to last a lifetime though. In today's day and age you can make a clear polymer receiver for a real gun, paint an orange tip on a real gun and get shot by police by brandishing a spray-painted banana, so it's no more scary than it used to be. The only thing that matters is the laws that allow us to own/use airsoft guns and our own personal conduct with them. To hype up fear based on misinformation, or idiots doing idiotic things (which humanity will never stop doing) is pointless.

The problem is social media. Everybody is connected into the internet and social media. Suddenly someone gets shot for brandishing an air gun or whatever and every bored soccer mom starts ranting a raving about gun control.

Lots of this is access to information changing.

The problem with the internet is that people read it as news. Not every thing you read on the net is fact. quite the opposite in most cases.

It's click bait and it did what it was supposed to do.

At least nothing of value was lost other than pride but what do you care about a bunch of nerds typing furiously on the computer? Just stay away from the internet and anyone who claims to be the CRA or a mystery shopper who wants something to do with your money on the internet.

I've seen too many sad stories and seniors who lose almost thousands because seniors don't know any better.
