VFC HK416C, similarities to rs HK416C?
so I have a VFC HK416C. before doing research I hastily bought the gun.
when I was fiddling around with it I noticed that it's not quite in line with the AR platform in terms of field stripping. I'd have to remove the buffer tube cap and then the spring in order to remove the receivers. an example is seen at around 2:00 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vjW81lN7khY can any real gun enthusiasts confirm that this a real mechanism in the rs HK416C? no luck in google searching. |

That doesn't seem unreasonable. In stumpy buffer tube ar15 RS rifles, the buffer spring sits on the carrier.
