Question WELL VSR10 inner & outer barrel

Hello everyone
I have some question about WELL VSR10 inner & outer barrel
here is a pic that I made
#1 should be the ideal (I think)
#2 is what my VSR10 looks like w/o the end locator
#3 is after the locator put in

I am assuming that that inner barrel is bent by the locator at the end
is this normal for VSR10?
if it's not, is it worth to get it fix or just get a new one?

It should be like #1. Your outer barrel is probably bent, you can either get a new outer barrel (expensive) or buy a new gun. Considering how cheap the Wells and TSD are with xmas and boxing day sales, that might be your best option.

alright, thanx
I will try to see what actually happen to my outer barrel
if it really bent, I guess I will have to get a new gun

Before you do that, I forgot to write that you should try rolling your inner barrel on a flat surface and see if it is straight. If it rolls smoothly its straight and your outer barrel is bent, if it does not, you only need a new inner barrel. Or you can attempt to straighten it. It's doable if you have access to specialized tools such as an arrow straightener. Otherwise you can try your luck with other methods, its not impossible to do, but its unlikely to succeed.

ya, I did check the inner barrel
now I removed the center locator
and just have the HOP UP unit & end locator to hold the inner barrel
I will try to test like this
what kind of accuracy I should get in 30m/100feet?
for a normal not super tune up gun
is within 200mm/8" or 300mm/12"?

That should work.

In a controlled environment, stock these things should be able to hit a torso sized target every time at 100 feet. Once upgraded, it should be able to hit a torso sized target every time at 200 feet. Some can do even better than that, but once you get outside with the wind, twigs, moving players, etc, hitting a torso sized target at 200 feet every time is pretty damn good.

tested today at 25m, I can get torso size like 7 out of 10
30m... I don't even know where my BB went lol
guess I should still try to get a center locator
too bad I can't find extended inner barrel & outer barrel here
feels like I am only buying the gun stock
coz I almost want to replace everything inside XD
thanx for the advice

Remove the screw locking your outerbarrel and rotate it half a turn.
If your inner still is almost at the top (relative to the receiver/rail), your outer barrel is not bent.
If it is now at the bottom, you need a new outer.
Or you can try to bring it back. I did it on a Maruzen L96... soft computer chair and my fat ass brought it back almost perfect.

Not using the center stabilizer can work as a temp fix. I usually make mine with masking tape. It's slippery to slide in the outer, yet soft/squishy to give a little.
Technically you only need 2 support points for a stable barrel.

thanx for the tip
I will try that method after work tomorrow
I read from some Taiwanese airsoft forum that air conditioner pipe insulation foam works really good for center locator
guess I will give that a shot as well
