Spring bending when inserted?

Hey,

I just did a spring change on my G&G CM16. The stock spring rested perfectly straight in the gearbox. I put in a weaker spring but when I put it in, it was slightly bendy (curved up a bit) instead of straight like the stock. Is this a problem? Or is this simply because it's a weaker spring?

Thanks!

These threads of yours are what went through my head when I did my change

I'll quote what I found before:

Quote:
Springs vary in length. Some chinese companies have stock springs that are super short but stiff, whereas many aftermartket manufacturers make long springs that are soft. It will work.

That's what the spring guide is for. It's normal.
