Considering yet another loadout.
Yes, i've changed my mind yet again.
There was the SO Tech Callahan setup. But now i've thought of something else. TAG (Tactical Assault Gear). Modular Plate Carrier http://store.tacticalassaultgear.com/moplca.html 2x Double M4/M16 Mag Pouch http://store.tacticalassaultgear.com/modom1magpo.html *MOLLE Upright Utility Pouch http://store.tacticalassaultgear.com/mouputpo1.html Rigger's Belt http://store.tacticalassaultgear.com/lghdribe36.html Mag Dump http://store.tacticalassaultgear.com/dumpmagpouch1.html Drop Leg Mag Subload http://store.tacticalassaultgear.com/drlegm1magpo.html A (*) means that i may replace this pouch with a similar one from my Tactical Tailor MAV. Subtotal: $378.70 What do you guys think? Any suggestions? Anything i should get rid of? |

I have a couple of TAG plate carriers on the way. If your in the GTA you can come in and try them on.

My 2 pesos; the word on the street is that the TAG plate carrier is _massive_. So if you're a skinny fucker, forget it.
And I'm not really a fan of subloads, especially for 4+ mags. Right now the one I run is the SORD panel with a double kydex pouch; very low profile and no fumbling around with flaps or fastex. As for the dumper, Primus uses one of the same design and likes it. Cheers,

-_-
I think you should get it
I've never seen anyone with the TAG plate carrier. Be good to see someone with it. TAG's quality is just as good as any other brand. Get it from Farmboy  |

Hey Adrian, just because you're skinny doesn't mean everybody else is

I'm not terribly far from the actual TAG Walk-In store in Imperial Beach so i could probably go there and try it on if i could get my parents to drive me. Being 15 doesn't exactly help in terms of transportation  As it turns out, I'm actually a fairly skinny guy. 38" Chest isn't exactly big . However, i did take the time to send OpTactical an E-Mail and they said that it should adjust small enough to fit me. I've also heard that the TAG Plate Carrier is pretty big, so i'm going to E-Mail a few more retailers just to make sure. As for the SubLoad, i don't plan on carrying more than 4 mags in it as my general loadout is 12 out of my 22 magazines (10 of which [out of the overall 22] are STAR magazines). My reason for getting the subload is that Triple MagPouches aren't exactly comfortable on a plate carrier. Especially when going prone. Right now, i'm trying to keep the overall loadout under $400 USD |
