Double feeding with brand new LCT TK102 HELP

Hey guys was wondering if someone could help me out. I just purchase a LCT ak102 and tried it out last night and it was shooting fine with my small 8.4 nicad battery. Just picked up an 11.1 lipo too fit the top rail and now its double feeding on me. I tried turning the hopup completely off which seemed to help but still had random double feeds, tried all 4 of my mags including the stock hicap but it still wasn't consistent. Then had the hopup turned all the way up and it was shooting a single BB, adjusted it to where i wanted it and then it was shooting perfectly until every 10th shot maybe was another double feed.

Is there any solution for this or is it the 11.1 that is too much for my gun.. I think it's got to be something else cause it was still randomly double feeding even with my 8.4.. Please someone help me I wanted to use my brand new gun tomorrow and now I'm plagued with this bad luck..

Now I just shot a full mag through the gun and it only shot 2 BBs at a time maybe 3 times altogether.. So I'm still not sure what it could be

I think the 11.1 might be your problem

Hey Alex,

Your culprit could be the hop up bucking. It may be allowing more than two bb's feed into it. Take the bucking out and check to see if it is torn and re-seat it back into the hop up unit.

There is also a neat little mod you can do to the hop by adding a little indent to act like a detent to keep the bb from pushing ahead by the magazine spring tension.
