WE Glock lower frame compatibility question

Hi guys,

Quick question. I think the answer is yes, but wanted to ask those who have hands on experience...

Are lower frames across the WE glock line all interchangeable?
IE: I have a G19 and I want to make it into a G17. If I source the lower frame and upper slide (with barrel of course), I can make it happen? Yes?

How about the pistols with full auto? Can a G17 be made into a G18C?

No.
In additional to slide (I would assume you mean the slide assembly which includes barrel and recoil spring) and the frame, many other parts are shorter on G19.
Someone else correct me if I am wrong, but I think the slide guide is different. Also the magazine.
You basically have to replace the entire pistol except the hammer assembly, trigger and trigger bar, and some other small parts like the pins and screws. Not an efficient way to "convert" it to a G17 at all. Besides, if you buy the parts you need to replace, it will probably cost more than a G17.

No. WE G17 and G18 are different systems, the stripped frame is interchangeable, but the full frame is not (mostly the hammer assembly being different). Stock slides are different, too.
There are an Ace1Arms slide kit that can fit on both G17 and G18 though.

No, you can use any larger Glock magazine in any smaller Glock. You can even use a smaller magazine in a larger Glock if you remove the baseplate and stuff it up there like a tampon but no one actually does that.

He is trying to use a small magazine on a large frame on his example. Doable, but the result would be weird.

I have converted a 17 into a 19... but not the other way around.

WE G17, G19 and G27
It can be seen from the picture that the rail guide (the metal thing in the frame) is different. The hammer assembly, trigger, trigger bar, magazine catch, and some other parts like the springs, pins and screws are same. Most major parts are different.
