Newbie needs a place to dial in the sight

I picked up my First gun earlier this month. Got a G&G CM16 Raider-L bought a RDS for it but don't really have anywhere to shoot it atm to setup the sight. Live in a condo so could maybe shoot it 18 feet across the room but can't seem to keep the BB's from bouncing all over the place and don't really want to damage my property. Was wondering what ranges might be nearby as my google searches like to show paintball arenas. I live in Mississauga, Ontario. Given the loosely written by-law here shooting the gun outside would probably result in a fine.

Yes, the BY-LAW is what you should by worrying about!
There's also something called the Criminal Code cops normally worry about...
So I would advise wholeheartedly against this.

Try Mach1 Airsoft Field that's in the middle region between North York and Mississauga.

Rainy Eyes read the bylaw. The CCC does not apply here. Grape Apes not in intent or the commission of a crime

Mach1 Airsoft Field was shut down in April.

Your only option is going to Siege, Sgt. Splatters, or UA.

The intent was to do it lawfully. Hence looking up the legality of it and trying to find a dedicated range.

Best bet would be to come out to a game. Outdoors you'll have a lot of range to use
We have a game comming up on the 22nd at finch field airsoft I'm sure myself or one of the other vets would be glad to help you out with dialing in your hop up for greatest effective range.
check out finch field airsoft on facebook or brows the games listing here (if you can do that without AV status.
Welcome to airsoft and welcome to ASC!

Or just like... buy a laser bore sight and a caliper.

Measure the distance from center barrel to center optic.

Calculate 90% of the above, and draw it out on a piece of paper.

adjust your sight so that the laser and reticule meet your marks at 10ft.

This will roughly range in your sight for 100ft.

From there you can fine tune the adjustment at your first game.

Why not just zero it in at a game?

This is the correct answer.

Ive never had any luck with bore sights.

I noticed that each time I put the bore sight in, it would point at a different location.
