Tough Hook gear hanger
This is a product all airsoft dealers in Canada should sell and keep in stock.
I am getting one from Airsplat directly until local dealers start selling them. http://www.airsplat.com/tough-hook-h...ger-black.html |

They were being sold on-site at Affluent Penguin a couple weeks ago. I think it was the BB Bastard guys that were selling it, but I could be mistaken.

Or go get a wooden hanger for 2 bucks from the dollar store. Holds my fully loaded tac vest with mags and everything in it. 15 dollars for a hanger is...well Ill let you finish that.

You are correct. Blackthorne aka Brent from BB Bastard sells similar PC hangers. Don't order from USA, support local!!!

yeah, and if you really wanted to, you can use an extension cord as a belt instead of a cobra belt rated for 8000 pounds.

Or scuba hangers at your local () dive shop for half the price (or less).

you know the metal coat hangers at walmart are just as tough and much cheaper. You can duct tape 2 or 3 of them together to get the wider shoulder strap. I have a 30 lb Plate carrier (training plates) hanging on one for years.

I guess any wooden hanger will work. Duct tape, any getto way of saving $15.
The tough hook gets my choice. It has hooks at the end to prevent your vest from slipping off. It reverses as a carry handle. |

I think it's 5 bucks for three of the heavy hangers that you see pictured. As pictured 30 pound vest, training plates. I sometimes forget to take out the fishing weights and empty the hydro carrier after running and I hang it up, with that it runs into 60lbs. It has the same carry handle built in, not as ergonomic. My wife and I have two sets of scuba gear each, plus 4 plate carriers, wedding dress etc that's running into 100+ dollars for coat hangers so no thank you on that price point. The problem isnt the coat hangers holding the weight its the cheap closet hanging rod. Went to Target and bought some nice fixtures during liquidation on the cheap to hang stuff up in the store room.

Can you explain how the fishing weights work? That sounds like an interesting way to increase weight. I'm picturing either the tiny balls you clip onto your line, or big down rigging "cannon balls" - neither of which would work too well.
Also, I hope that the irony of trying to weigh down a JPC is not lost on you. |

Lol yes the irony of weighing down a JPC isn't lost on me. It's not fishing weights scuba weight

I always wondered how practical the tough hook is when you aren't supposed to leave your armour vertical for fear of curling. Is that no longer the case? |
