Replica RAV
Hey Guys,
I was wondering if anyone had any experience with the Replica RAV made by, I belive OLKA. I saw it over at Boom Arms for $160.00. I know that it's a replica and will more than likely not have the same quality as a Parcellete RAV, but I can not see myself paying $700.00 for one. Let's face it I play Airsoft, I don't track down insurgents in Afghanistan. I must say the when possible I do prefer real gear. I own a Warlord Ver. II and I love it, I'd just like that look of the RAV. Any help would be appreciated greatly. |

Bah, Eagle CIRAS with real soft inserts is the way to go!
From what people (keep trying) to tell me, it's not half-bad, considering the price.

Just my opinion... but... I'll always buy the real stuff, instead of replica.
I'd recommend you to buy the Eagle Industries Plate Carrier + Cummerbund or the Rhodesian chest rig. For like 50$ more, you can get the real stuff. I don't think any one has that pot load of money to buy a real Paraclete RAV... I know Groombug has it, that's all. |

I've only heard from one guy that has it on his team. He has the real one and the rest of his team uses the OLKA replica. He says they are very well made and have the same cut like the real ones. I wouldn't mind having that OLKA RAV.

I'm VERY interested. I'm running a crossdraw CQB rig for both woodland and CQB for now and I need some more load bearing capacity.

WGC Shop sells the PROUD Replica RAV for $120 USD (about $142 CAD) while RedWolf sells the Milspex Replica RAV for $130 USD (about $154 CAD). Just wanted to get it out there if anyone was interested.

At this point both the Phantom CIRAS and Proud/Milspex RAV are QUITE tempting, the deal breaker seems to be that the RAV is Around $140 WITHOUT pouches. Anyone wanna make a suggestion?

Let me get this straight... The replica RAV is $140 and you are complaining about the price? The real thing is $1000. Hmmm... kind of a no brainer there
