Question CA M24 Upper Receiver Slide

I've noticed a small issue with my rifle recently as I was plinking in my backyard preparing for the upcoming season. Upon cocking the rifle back I noticed a small sliding of the upper receiver. This occurs when I cock the rifle and when I push the bolt back as well. Its a sliding distance of about 1/4 of an inch. Now I don't know if this is a normal thing and if others have experienced this issue, however, I've never had it happen before nor have I experienced it while using other CA M24's in the past.

Could this possible be the retaining screws showing signs of stripping? Or is it something else?

Most likely the screws holding the stock on are stripping, they are made of the most craptastic metal ever. Take them to a hardware store and pick up some steel ones of the same length. If i remember i was unable to find a bolt the right length for the front, had to cut down one to size.
