G&g GK74n.

Hey ASC,

I have the rifle mentioned in the title of this thread, first product purchased from

G&g. I am looking to use a single drum style mag with this AK style rifle, does

anybody know which company makes a good quality drum mag that will work

with this rifle? It seems like alot of G&g stuff is a propriety design so i dont want

to buy a drum mag and not have it function with the rifle.

cheers.

Why the heck would you want a drum mag?

I don't think he's going for realism, anyone that would put a drum on a regular assault rifle is just looking for mega hicap noobism

OP: the reason your request is strange is because 74s use different ammo to 47s in real life and all the airsoft drums on the market are made for AK47 (7.62 ammo) , that said, any airsoft ak47 drum mag should fit your g&g 74 lol good luck

Not everyone wants to run real caps only and play MILSIM all day, some players are interested in airsoft as a hobby and as something fun to do. I have a drum magazine for my G&G AK (by the way, OP, CYMA drum magazines work fine though they require a bit of sanding and filing to fit) and it's been my best investment yet. Flawless feeding, auto winding, no reloads, perfect for games where I want to be up front taking the fight to the enemy team.

I do have enough mids for events that require them, but when it comes down to it I say let people use the mags they want, we are shooting 6mm plastic bbs afterall.

Edit: The only people who have ever given me shit for running it is a few people online who spend a lot of their time asking "is this milsim, bro?"
Whenever I go to fields I usually have people asking me the brand and asking if they can hold my AK/put the drum in their AK to check it out.
By the way, just to add to this, my AK is a carbine, the AK104 specifically. Sorry if that just makes this all the more annoying for you.
