SA/VFC Gen 4 Glock 17
The most realistic looking Gen 4, and it's not $800.00
Discussed on arnies http://arniesairsoft.co.uk/forums/in...n4-w-markings/

I like it. Now, if only it was compatible with TM internal parts...

I had it, it was nice and all. Just didn't like how the parts weren't TM compatible for the most part and parts pretty much had to be found in Asia. Otherwise, pretty sweet pistol

Same as the Gen 3 magazine catch by Starks? TM Magazine catch was all plastic and did not have the metal piece. |

Honestly, I didn't have it for long. I broke the outer barrel and then had a hell of a time finding one and when I did find one didn't fit too well so I sold it. I can assure you the externals were quite nice though along with the trades.

All I'm really looking for are some replacement Gen 4 Magazine Catches for the Gen 4 Frame. I'd rather stick with HK3/WE for my Glocks... the ones I have are still running like a champ and any issues can be easily remedied... not to mention majority of the parts are TM compatible. |

The TM doesn't fit in a 9mm/.40 holster either. They're off spec and wider than RS- you have to run a .45 holster.

Stark Glocks have been available in Canada for a couple years now. Pretty well since they first came out.

How bad was it? This is speaking from experience... issues will vary with other individuals. Well both Glock's slide got stock and would not return to battery. They were just locked into place and would not budge one bit. I still have no clue till this day why both of them did it. There were a ton of problems with the Stark Arms Glocks. First of all they are G18C internals meaning you can't use G17 TM upper or lower with them They actually addressed a few issues that were present in both TM and HK3 Glocks like the metal plate on the Magazine catch. Though some of the plates would just fall right off causing you to require a replacement. I've seen current mag catches from Stark and the quality looks a lot better than the time I use to own them. The double spring guide was also very bad because the plastic holding the spring in place would break. Means you would need to replace it. If you used lets say a guarder or something that isn't stark the Slide would grind and get stuck there occasionally. You sort of needed that buffer spring so that it doesn't extend too far where it gets stuck. What else oh yhaa and you need the stock barrel in order for it to work with the lower frame. The design and measurement there is just completely different with TM. You needed a Stark Arms barrel or else you were screwed. There's more but I'm far too lazy to type every little issue I have with the gun. As for HK3/WE the frame is the exact same dimensions as a TM. Slide is bit more square and less rounded than other slides but that shouldn't be a problem. I've fit this in a real serpa holster fine. With no issues. In fact I've fit all 6 of my HK3/WE Glocks fine in my serpa holsters and that's not including the TM builds. I mean HK3/WE will definitely have issues but the most common ones can easily be addressed and fixed. Its the same with TM as well. A stock TM stock have issues but addressing them and fixing them is quit easy. |

The folks who were selling are now out; that's the way it goes in the world of airsoft. When you see a new release of something you want you better buy it then.
