Two Gas Guns, Same Mag Problem?

I recently purchased a new KJW Para FMV and a used Maruzen P99. From the first test of the P99 I would only get 5-10 shots off before the mag was empty of gas. Sometimes it wouldnt even cycle the slide all the way but it seems to do so now. I checked seals and put some lube in it, but no difference. Now my brand new KJW Para is doing the same thing.

I have tried both 134 and a little Green Gas on the P99 and Green Gas only on the Para. No differences. I did spray some oil on the mag at the fill valve, release button and a tiny bit into the top of the mag well itself.

Could both of these just be a problem of over lubrication? Is this a common problem or did I get two lemons? Para worked great until now, yet its only had about 10mags at the most shot through it.

Thanks.

when you fill this gun, are you making sure to hold the bottle of duster/green so the nozzle is directed downwards?
(by the way, get a propane adapter!)

Read through this topic, it mostly covers KJ 1911, but it does have some info about P14. Apparently P14 mags have issues with o-rings.

Im running it by Jungletoy this Sat, where I bought it. Ill keep a close eye on what he does to fix it and hopefully the same will apply to my P99 mag. Sure seems like the exact same problem - seals.

If it was the seals, you'd hear the leak. Maybe fill it and immerse it in water (or wipe dishsoap on the seams) to see if bubbles form.

Any ideas where to get the incredibly small orings needed for Magazine valves? I found a few of the larger ones.
