Alright, found it on redwolf, but I don't wanna play the "will it pass customs game," due to it technically being a 1700s repro and so not a restricted firearm but it also doesn't possess high enough fps to fit in the other "unrestricted thingamajig" category.

Abridged version: anyone seen/have an idea where I can get it in country, or do I have to play the lottery to get it in?

Cheers.

I believe you can because it would be classified as antique and does not classified as a firearm

It would not be classified as an antique how can an airsoft gun be manufactured in the last 15-20 years and still be considered antique?

If it was a real 1700 era flintlock yes it's an antique, an airsoft replica of an antique firearm is just that a replica If the airsoft gun doesn't meet the importation fps limits it even though it does fire it maintains replica status and is disqualified from being imported

It needs to fire within importation limits or it will be seized

I read that as well and I couldn't work out what the resolution of the conversation was. I was wondering if anyone has tried to or not. I don't think the thing has a date stamp on it to show the year its a reproduction of thus making it a repro of a uncontrolled firearm.
