Some Body Know Where I Can Get A Decent Maroon Beret?
debated on putting this here or in off topic.
long story short; I've transfered over to Mike (Para) Coy over in 3 RCR. when I went to get my maroon beret, I forgot that they were those sodding logistcorp ones. so now I've basically got a chefs hat on my head at work, and I hate it. so anyone know of somwhere they can get like a bancroft one? maybe at the 3ppcli kit shop? don't we have a guy that's posted to trenton right now on this board? maybe someone from that area could get into the CPC kitshop. I just hate berets that have those HUGE trench folds in them like that. I wear a 7 1/4 in case you need to know :-? Greg |

They have the good berets at the C&E museum in Kingston. If your're ever down that way grab a couple. The Logisticorp ones suck ass.

Belgium berets are way better than the issue ones. |

rcr kitshop only has either a)officer berets or b)logisticorp ones
ppcli online kitshop doesn't carry them (unless they've updated the site in the last four days). I know I'll find a decent beret one day! Greg |

Asked 'cause almost everyone told me to do it... but i decided to wait 'til my BMQ/SQ 'til a MCpl told me to just rip it out. Right now it doenst look like a chef's hat after some pulling to the side.

Hello Yeoman, what size do you need I have a bunch brand new Dorethea Knitting Mills, $19.95 and I'll ship to you. Dryer? dunno about that but the instuction most common is, Liner out, take hot shower with beret, wear till dry continually forming the crest and side. Send me PM Cheers |

made man, when you remove the liner, the beret forms better to your head, an doesn't look "fat".
ArmyIssue, you got the issue ones for sale, their alright, but the belgium ones(what Yeoman is looking for) are a lot better IMO. |
