AI spoon kit for impact grenades

For anyone with experience with the tornado grenade spoon kit, how well does it work with an impact grenade? Is it solely for looks? I know it has some uses with the timer variation but will I be scrambling to find the spoon if I use it with the impact grenade as well? As I do want to add it to the grenade, I just want to know what I'd be getting myself into

I have the timed grenade version, once I saw that the spoon flies out of the grenade and isn't attached I didn't even bother installing it on mine. As you mentioned the impact spoon kit is solely for looks.

Useless on the impact, its to prevent the timer from starting when you pull the pin on the timer one, the impact one dont need this it wont blow unless it hit something so yeah, only look.
