AK drum mag kit

on that page there's a "drum mag kit" for an ak, it says it needs a standard mag to be put together. does anyone know A: if any standard mag will do (star, G&G, or does it have to be TM) B: has anyone ever built one of these? are they hard to put together. ie. could a stupid noob like myself figure it out after a bit of tinkering. C: are they decent quality, and how many bb's (roughly) do you get each time you wind it or does it feed the whole thing? |

Eww, I don't know much about this drum mag although what I DO know is you do NOT want it. All accounts I've run across describe it as a jam-o-matic piece of trash.
A TM AK hi-cap is 600 rounds. How much more could you possibly need? |

hehe. It's not so much the extra rounds that I want, so much as the complete badassness of a drum mag

It only looks bad ass with a ak C mag.
oh and stay the fuk away form this one, they also have one that is already fully assembled which i think it works better, but isn't as good as regular mags. so basicly its at the bottom of the food chain.

If you want:
A badly feeding system that you must wind every other minute. A magazine that will never fully empty itself. An extremely loud maracas with you that points you out every time you move. And to toss money away. Go for it. |

get that electric loading C mag for the AK. That thing kicks ass. If you have the money to spend it on though.
