ca m24?

Hi, I dunno if this is the right place to post this, but I was just wondering if anyone have experience with Classic Army m24? I heard from someone and they said it has a lot of issues with this gun..

And also, anyone has experience with modify m24? Thanks!

I have a CA M24 with all Laylax parts, so cant really speak for the quality of the stock internals. The only problem that I had (and its a pretty common one too) is the stripped and broken screws. ALL OF THEM got messed up after about a week. Pretty easy fix but could be a PITA to get them out if they break and get stuck inside the threads. Other than that its a solid platform.

It's a solid platform, though like all snipers it's not really worth gaming out of the box. One of the better upgrade platforms

Just like AEG's, they're all crap out of the box. It's the upgrade potential and compatibility that matters.
The CA M24 is a good platform

I don't agree with the AEG comment. Lots of AEGs are solid out of the box. G&G's Toptech line come to mind.

Anyway, don't mean to jack the thread

apart from maybe realsword, I've never seen a stock AEG shoot as well as an upgraded gun
Even stock PTW's don't shoot as well as hop-modded PTWs lol

How does a SW m24 compare to a CA m24 as a platform? I have a friend with a snowwolf m24 with the steel internals, what are the major differences (if any) from the CA m24?

Thanks in advance!

I have one. It's almost 15 years old.
Retaped screws
PDI internals
Modified stock trigger

There is not much on this rifle that is left from it's original status. Even the body was modified in some extent.

Once it's properly modified, it's the best sniper rifle IMO. The only one that can match it is the Maruzen APS2 with the equivalent amount of mods.
The M24 get more point for it's solid feel, comming from it's heavy fiberglass body and metal parts.

Thanks FOX_111 that's good to know! But just to clarify, do you have a Snow Wolf M24? Or classic army? Regardless I do plan on upgrading the hell out of it, and I am looking forward to it!

Fox_111,

What are the optics on that M24? What are the optics on that M24? Is that camo paint or hydro?

As much as I didn't like my M24, the trigger is much nicer even stock over a VSR10.

tear the trigger apart and polish the contact points. add some grease and away you go, smooth as butter.
I had to put a stronger return spring on mine because it stopped resetting after each pull. but echoing what lots of people have said about the m24, it is a solid platform with a couple little things that can be worked out or fixed.
I LOVE mine to death.

Has anyone resolved the last shot issue with the M24 magazines? I know that you should not try to chamber a round after the last bb is shot, but in actual field use, it is easy to forget and bust the follower on the magazine with the nozzle tip.

I have broke over 8 magazines so far. They have been fixed and broken again and again.

there was a guide on here a long time ago about modifying the mags so they don't break. its still buried somewhere I'm sure. It was basically adding a strip of steel over the lip so it would be harder to break it.
