mosfet wiring

Just wanting to confirm this

Battery to mosfet, mosfet leads to motor, gate wires to trigger?
I'm using a microswitch, best I could find rated for 11 amps! My gun uses 20

Lol. Read up a little more before attempting this.

First, wiring diagram are easy to find. A certain mosfet maker is making all his diagram public domain, so it's even easier.

Second, while extreme-fire is a really good brand for a mosfet, the MERF is made by another brand, called Gate.

Third, JG mosfet are known to fail, so I'd follow your idea of changing it.

Fourth, read up a little more before attempting this.

Fifth, microswitch and mosfet don't go well together, unless the mosfet is made with microswitch in consideration. That means, don't get a mosfet with active braking. That means no MERF 3.2.

Sixth, since I feel like so:

Seventh, read up a little more before attempting this.

I would rather use my home made MOSFET than a JG unit, for reliability.
The only thing worth keeping in a JG Switch Assembly with Mosfet is the switch…

I've been having difficulty finding a mosfet to work with my MS.
I emailed Extreme Fire and no luck, still waiting to hear from BTC but it looks like their units are designed for contact plate triggers.

I'm thinking I need to have one made custom for my set up

I haven't try that on MS myself, but I think Pico SSR (2) should work.
Or just make one yourself... It is not that hard if you can do soldering, and the parts are easy to find. I have two of this work fine with MS.
