Mag issues?

I've recently gotten myself a Umarex VFC 416cbq v2....great gun so far am happy with it except I'm not sure whether I've done something to it or if it's just the mags. But when loading the weapon (with a full mag, no issues) but when it comes close to being empty and if I remove the mag and put it back it the motor seems to spin, even without the trigger being depressed and after that I cannot fire a ring round. Just wondering if it's just the mag, something with the rifle or something I'm doing.
