Tokyo marui g18c vs hk3p g18c

Hi All,

I recently got a HK3P G18C and the few times I shot it, it was great. I've been reading through the forums (as I'm a new member) and everyone seems to rave about the Tokyo Marui versions of the Glocks. The TM G18C that I can see online is a little over 400 which is 200 more than I paid for my HK3P.

I just wanted to find out if it was worth investing in, or just stick with my HK3P?

Also, you guys were great in helping me solve a screw problem on the inner barrel and hopup! so thx for that as well!

** I have read the thread on WE Vs TM and I know HK3P make WE guns but thought there might be some new or different info.

thanks again!

Hey there

TM is tried and true and are known to be better quality, more reliable than WE
Considering most aftermarket parts are made according to TM specs, you're better off with a TM if you want to upgrade your gun at some point. Some third party will make "WE specific" parts, but it's rarely advertised this way, adding to the headache

400$ for a TM G18 is a bit steep though; You could get one in Canada for about 280-300$ right now.

Considering you already have a HK3P pistol in your hand right now, I wouldn't worry about this and just use it until you're not happy with it, whatever the reason.

If/when something break, you can always check for resolution in the Doctors' corner here first, and then decide on your course of action.

Between now and the moment you'll need to think over this, you'll probably have had time to get age verified ( ), then you'll be in a better position to shop for another pistol at a good price IF you do indeed decide on changing it

Great info thanks! yea I've checked the Downtown Toronto Age Verify people and will be contacting them soon to set something up so i can get the best info!

It's a toss up now between VKF and TM lol. but eventually once this HK3P breaks I'll look into getting the best one that will last with proper maintenance! thx!
