AI Grenade broken after first time use?
So I bought a AI Impact Grenade from someone locally here on the forum.
He said it was sold to me "as new". I was able to make use of the nade at LT's game last week. But realized upon filling the nade the bb's would jump out. Apparently one of the tabs that hold the bb's in its chamber is broken. However the nade was sold to me new! Is this a common piece that breaks and is there supposed to be glue around the nade? Or have I been had? Thanks in advance!

I have never seen this before. But yes, the shell's are glued.
Out of curiosity, what temperature was it when the grenade hit concrete? |

Send a message to AI, they will hook you up.
Also, no, never saw that part break. And I "tried" to use my nades at -20c. They don't work that great but don't break either. |

That's a new one to me. I use these pretty extensively and rigorously.
I'd say the guy probably snapped it off by shoving something in there that he shouldn't have... if I had to guess.

No wonder the guy sold it for so cheap... and said it was "new".

Email AI: they'll fix it for free. They'll just ask you to ship it to them and for a return address.

Wow, first broken detent finger I've seen in the field so far. Fill out a support ticket to make arrangements to have your grenade repaired:
http://airsoft-innovations.com/contact-us You'll get new shells and detent fingers screwed on.
