So what are your guys' opinions on this?

I just found it after browsing a bit of Youtube and it's a Canadian Made, CNC'd Aluminium Flat-Top Rail that fits onto a standard Type 97.

It is made for real steel, but it claims the charging handle does not reciprocate, and I would assume that since RS makes the only QBZ9x series rifles out there and their dimensions are top stuff this would fit on an airsoft version no problem. Simply take off the upper, sauce this in, good to go; unless I'm missing some fundamentals here.

I've seen a lot of discussion on Type 95/7 RIS systems and such and this, although it completely destroys the image of the rifle in my honest opinion. Interesting option, but it also costs $350. Canadian Made though.

Purists will not be happy.

Saw some time ago, didn't like it, requires irreversible modification, include remove the orginal iron sight.

It'd probably be a bit too large for the -B.

It was designed for real steel T97NSR, which is semi-locked version of Type 97 Long Rifle.

I guess if you contact them and pay a bit extra they can shuffle/CNC/magic/skillfully devise a way to shorten it, but I don't think they'd have a -B version premade.
