First AEG & GBB

Hi, in about 1 month i will have enough money to purchase a AEG and a GBB- about $1200 CAD. Now i have come to find 2 guns that i like,
1. ICS M4A1 Carbine Retractable Stock (Full Metal)
2. HFC M92 M190 Special Force (Full Metal)
The reason i chose these guns is because im planning on keeping both stock (internally) and i am just looking for a strong, realiable, and durable gun. Although spending this much money on 2 guns i would like to know if you guys have some better suggestions for what im looking for.

Thanks

Well, first of all, you are 17, so good luck finding someone to sell you them. Most places require you to be at least 18.

As for you're choices, for you're first gun, I would go with Tokyo Marui, not ICS. Their plastic, but you shouldnt ever really break it. Their pretty strong. If you do a little searching you'll find out that Tokyo Marui's are more reliable than ICS. And I would not recomend that hand gun at all. HFC generally makes crap. Its full metal and goes for $98 US at redwolf. That says something right there. Go with a Tokyo Marui, Western Arms, or KSC. They may not be full metal, but their quality is much higher than HFC.

I personally wouldn't recommend the HFC M190 for two reasons. Finding spare parts for it in case something breaks would be very difficult and the hop-up for it is not adjustable.

Thanks, but if i were to buy the Tm i would eventually upgrade to a full metal body, stock, reciever, etc. so i would prefer to buy a full metal aeg at once, as for the gbb i think ill go with the TM and just get a metal slide and a stronger recoil spring.

i would get a kjw full metal gbb. I have the para 14.45 FM it was only 250 and it is full metal. It runs fine on propane and i think it shoots around 350fps. The only thing i dont like about it is how it does not have adjustable hop up.

well if you get a TM M4 S-System you wont really need to upgrade anything =). it's really nice, feels as solid as the AK and heavy. not too heavy. you won't even need a metal body unless your plastic one happens to crack/break from falling on your gun.

OR if you get any of the other TM M16/M4 variants then all you need to change to make it full metal is the body. thats it! but then some people get more problems with a metal hopup, others don't. you also lose the easy take-down feature.

anyway. it's up to you what route you want to take =)
I recommend TM over any other manufacturer.

No, TM does not manufacture full metal guns... the only companies that make full metal gbb pistols are KJW, HFC, WE, and perhaps some lesser known Taiwanese manfacturers..

On several websites, such as rangersairsoft/ and specarms. I cant find any metal slides for TM GBB, not to mention they are already very expensive let alone buying a metal slide and probably a recoil spring.

Yes, slides for TM guns tend to be rather expensive, but then again so are most metal slides. I reccommend looking into the KJW line of full metal Berettas (there is a chrome version)....cheap, reliable, and satisfyingly full metal!

Kuan Ju Works makes full metal "black" berettas just check them out, and for a first time gun i would recomend a tm, i bought a CA when i started, and i am paying for that decision in the long run

EDIT: i also have a full metal P14.45 by KJW, they are good, cheap, reliable guns

Now the question is the HFC M92 M190 Special Forces (Full Metal) or the KJW Elite 92F (Full Metal)
