TM G18c Dumping Gas

I have a TM 18c that I've done a bunch of upgrades on, recently I found the small metal piece that fills the hole on the back of the slide, it had fallen out last time I worked on the gun. So I took the slide apart, put it back in and reassembled the gun, but now it is not working properly. When I pull the trigger the slide doesn't move and it dumps all the gas in the magazine out the end of the barrel. Anyone have any ideas what could be happening? Here are the upgrades in case it matters:

PGC Metal Slide and Outer Barrel
GunsModify CNC Aluminum Trigger
AIP Hop Up Bucking
AIP Mag release
Guarder recoil spring and hammer
GunsModify Zero Hammer
Guarder 6.02 inner barrel
Guarder Loading Muzzle
Shooters Design Steel Full Auto Sear

I'm attaching a couple pics of the gun apart, hopefully someone can point me in the right direction.

Thanks,
DT

Which metal piece fell out? How did your reassemble the slide?

It's just the little circle that fills a small hole in the back of the slide, it's purely cosmetic, I'm quite certain it has nothing to do with the issue. I've reassembled the slide 4 times now and it continues to do the same thing. I'm thinking its something in the hammer assembly...

Fixed it. Tested with another slide on it and it worked, so I took the slide apart to take another look, and the valve is just missing from inside the muzzle... So I pulled one out of another gun for now, works fine. No idea how this fell out or where it went, but I guess it's time to order an upgraded rocket valve...

On a real Glock, that "little piece" is what depresses the extractor. For airsoft, it's utterly and completely for cosmetics. I don't know why manufacturers insist on making that part seperately. lol.

LOL.
You probably threw out the stock valve when you went and installed that Guarder loading muzzle.

Everyone does it at least once in their airsoft career.
...And everyone reacts the same way: "Wait... there's stuff in there!?"

I did remember to move it over from my stock nozzle to the guarder one the first time but my first guarder nozzle broke the first game I used it at. I installed my second one a couple weeks ago but now that I think back I must not have test fired it. Oh well, it's an excuse for another upgrade. (Too bad the upgraded valve doesn't come with all the parts I need...)
