Vertical grip and CA36
Hey folks, does anyone know how would one go about fitting a vertical grip onto the hand guard of a CA36? The underside of the hand guard has slots cut into it (http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y19...r/PICT0006.jpg) (http://www.classicarmy.com/photo/282_P0fA081P%205.jpg) but I don't know if they have anything to do with adding on attachments. Would I have to dremel RIS panels into the underside in order to fit a vert grip?

hum.. just buy the grip, you will figure it out by yourself. It's pretty easy to attach. almost all RIS goodies attach the same way.
EDIT: Do you have the RIS rail to put on the handguard? The photo is quite dark and blury.

There is no rail for the full length G36 Handguard's. Well at least they don't come with one, i'm not sure if there are aftermarket products but I know that it does not come with a rail. You could always use duct tape...

no duct tape.. just buy the rail and screw it on. Then the vertical grip will fit perfect on it.
You should have 2 or 4 screw holes on the grip to fit the rail.

Thanks folks, and those pics aren't mine gun, I'm just including them so people can see what the underside of a standard CA36/K is like.

What about using an m16 mount http://www.evike.com/Merchant2/merch..._RIS_RAS_RAILS
(i know its in america but i couldnt be bothered to fins it anywhere else) it has similar holes and looks as though it could mount to a CA36 with out any drilling.... |

Drill, Sand, Bolt, and Nut. Fits almost RIS piece onto a non RIS item.

Buy whatever length rail you want. Go to home depot and buy screws, nuts and washers. Oh and might want to think about using a lock nut. Good luck.
