Umarex/Ares G36CV Mags
Hi folks,
My fiend the Umarex/Ares G36CV and like all (Well I think) AEG, it came with the High cap mag. He bought some mags mags from Evike without searching (yes I know it's stupid): http://www.evike.com/product_info.ph...ducts_id=31982 Now they dont fit in the gun, so he think about selling it to a friend, if they work on his G36. My question here is: wish brand make compatible Real/low/mid caps for the Ares G36CV or better, if its possible to transform those mags from evike to work on the gun. Thanks for your time!! *Aper, feel free to flame here. I know you want to :P

Any Tokyo marui based mags should work with ARES brand guns. I'm running CYMA mags in my ARES G36C and they shoot fine.

Thats strange, the one I showed said they work on TM, but not on our G36Cv. I read that some mags with dummy had issue on this gun sometimes, but a box of 5?

MAG mags seem to feed fine in CA and ARES G36s
I find CA and TM G36 mags to be the most reliable though |

Like someone else said, DBOYS fit but they're a bit tight and you have to work them in.

You can try these.
http://www.evike.com/product_info.php?products_id=37666 Very slight wobble, if at all. I had no feed issues. Bonus is that they are designed to have no conflict with standard mag pouches as well. Magpul PTS Announces and Shows Their G36 PMAG at Shot Show 2012 - YouTube Hope that helps. Callixtus |

I actually used those exact Matrix midcaps from Evike and they work fine on my Umarex G36CV... but they look different in real life. I ended up selling them because I liked the Magpul ones better. They have a bit of wobble side-to-side but I fixed that by using some hockey tape inside the magwell. They are still feeding well to this day.

do NOT order from evike.
number one you will end up paying MORE for shipping than you would if you were to buy them local. number two, it's evike number three, importing anything with fake bullets in them will get your package seized and you will lose your overpaid amount to evike who might have fucked up your order in the first place. There are no less than 3 canadian vendors off the top of my head that sell the g36 pmags. I would even hazard a guess that almost all of them can get you the pmags, so don't bother with trying to import them.

They didnt fitted in my friends one. When he start shooting, they just felt on the ground.
We have another friend with a G36 (I dont remember the brand) and they fit on his. He gona buy them, so it's not a total lost, but still sad they didnt work :/. Pretty sure he's gonna take the Magpul ones, with the feedback I had, pretty sure where gonna be ok now.
