Gr16-r5
Hey guys, i'm new here but I've been following the forums for a while so I can carry a short conversation about internals and what they do, but I dont know what is better and what isn't, not that much anyhow. Well heres my question..I'm looking forward to buying the gr16-r5 from G&G...i've read a couple reviews...and it seems like this gun has problems in the internals from the very start in some reviews. In other reviews, theres no problems at all except for the hop up. I really need someone to shine some wisdom on this rifle...i know for a fact that this is THE rifle for me...via personal taste and choice...but i need to know if its going to be a hastle from the day i buy the gun? Appreciate all the info =)

Thats the thing, I've always loved the M16 and i wanted an m16 with a scope but i didnt like the idea of placing a scope on top of the carry handle..it just looks weird...so i saw the m15a4 rifle with removable carry handle..but the barrel was that of a a regular m16..which was alright, but with the R5 its full ris and I plan to have a flashlight mounted also. I just would like to know if anyone has experience with this gun, if it is reliable..and wont stop shooting on me.

If you want to play indoors a G&G will shoot to fast for most clubs. You will have to get a velocity reducer if you want to play indoors. Just something to think about.

anyway, I missed it a lot so I figure I'd buy the G&G GR16-R5 because it's way cheaper than building from scratch. I will also be getting a G&G GR16-R4 (w/ready-mag system) to feed my hunger for Armalites. Although, I would like to try the ICS M4 with the split gearbox design =p Quote:
Thats why I have an AEG for field and one for CQB.

I will be using it for outdoors only. So if airsoftGI products will get seized...then what about RedWolf Airsoft..do their products get seized too?? The GR15-R5 is 815 dollars canadian..where as if I get it from the states it will come out to 665 canadian.
