IMHO ICS's M4 has gotta be the best one out there.

I think so because

-Split gearbox design (easily switch from a CQB gun to a field gun)

-working forward assist (easily unjam BBs, and its used the same way as a Real-steal one)

-available in RIS (Makes it heavy/realistic and allows fitting of lots of accessories. Also makes having RIS much cheaper than buying after buying the gun)

-working T-Handle (Fun to use for realistic affect)

-All metal (for those like me who must get as close to real as possible)

-I think they work well out of the box (making a good first gun)

Although I've never shot one, only held one so I can't say a lot about it's reliability, performance etc.

I have an ICS M4 as well, and my only gripe was that my barrel hex screws stripped. other then that, no complaints and the addition of an aftermarket outter barrel added a nice chunk of weight to it Also, I've never had a problem with my Turbo2000 motor, infact, am really impressed with it. With a 9.6v battery, it has an amazing rate of fire and feels very smooth. It is a little louder then a TM, however, but also has a very distinct sound thats easy to identify

suggestions
- heavier, one piece outter barrel on M4's.

My team mate has an ICS M4 fullstock. Problems that we had:
- Turbo 2000 motor was extremely loud and weak, had to replace with a TM EG1000
- Installation of metal bushings warped the mechbox... our fault really, so don't worry about it
- Cutoff lever is too loose and wobbly; needed to file down the post that it fits around
- Paint on outer barrel and fullstock wears more easily than we had expected
- Stock wiring is too short at certain parts, had trouble getting batteries in properly.

Despite these problems, this has been one of the most enjoyable guns I've worked on. The split mechbox design is not a gimmick, it's made the internals MUCH more enjoyable to work on. The body is very solid.

I found the splim mechbox desing is realy to flimsy for the heavy workload I used. Motor had to be changed to TM
came with a busted tab NIB
Not impressed at all. sold and bought a TM

i am the proud owner of a ics m4 full stock. i have not moded it in any way internaly and it fires great. i do have to agree with a few points. the motor is louder than a tm but it dose have a nice rate of fire and runs smothe. the wires for the battery are to short easy fix unscrew the stock cut the wires and add an extension reatach the stock

Personally, I don't like ICS.

Some things to improve that could change my opinion:

1. Better quality control
2. Better build materials
3. Better build finish - Some products seem "rough", compared to Tokyo Marui.

This is minor but im about to get a ICS M4 RIS and I wish i was all black I love the darkness of the G&G guns i really dont like grey.

It would be nice if there was a black version.
