Top Tech G&G MP5 vs Umarex Differences?

Im just wondering if theres a difference internally between the top tech mp5 and the umarex fully hk licensed? besides the obvious trade marks, is there anything internally thats different? I can find just the normal top tech ones but finding a umarex one is kinda difficult. thanks!

G&G MP5s have a pneumatic blowback system. Although it doesn't give any recoil, it makes moving parts on your gun, and makes it look more realistic. Both use a standard V2 gearbox, and I would say both are of equal quality. The performance on both are pretty good. I'd flip a coin.

The difference is the Umarex is more expensive, has a tiny HK logo under the top rail and has two ugly disclaimers/licenses on it. The Top Tech is the way to go. I have yet to see a better performing and better price/quality airsoft weapon with my own eyes.

I own the Umarex version. A teammate owns the Umarex also and another owns the Top Tech.

+1 exactly what he said. The Umarex version is identical enough that you get the Top Tech hologram sticker on the underside of the gearbox.

Aside from the ugly Umarex trademarks/licenses/gigantic paragraphs on the exterior ("NOT A TOY" etc), you get an ugly orange flash hider, since we're likely talking about Umarex USA here..
